Although the estate is set in a tranquil secluded setting surrounded by fields trees and wildlife, you are still only a ten minute drive from the local supermarket, chemist,cafes, butchers, tabacs, and boulangerie selling amazing fresh bread.

The Reynou Zoo
Everybody loves the Zoo! The Reynou Zoo Park is an extraordinary zoological park, nestled in a splendid landscaped park. One of the main features of the Reynou ZOO Park is a vast area of freedom, within which several species come together, as well as in the natural environment. Created by porcelain artist Charles Edouard Haviland, the landscaped park houses an 18th century castle. The Park and Castle today form a splendid classified site. Golf de la Porcelaine is an 18 hole golf course, providing plenty of challenges with a multitude of obstacles: woods, streams, water hazards. A superb practice area and putting green where you can work on your golf skills. When you have finished your round of golf, you can relax with a round of drinks in the Club Bar. The Aquarium of Limoges is located in an architectural setting unique in France, an ancient reservoir of underground and vaulted water of the city of Limoges. It was built under Napoleon III in order to preserve the city of possible epidemics of cholera. You will be able to discover one of the biggest species presentations in France.

The Lake of Saint Pardoux
The Lake covers an area of over 1 square mile and is set in a landscape of great beauty. Around the lake you can do: windsurfing, sailing (with your own equipment), bathing on supervised beaches, hiking along footpaths, mountain biking, fishing for under 16 year olds are available. For a supplementary charge you can do: water-skiing, water-wing swimming, boat trips, archery, fishing (over 16s), water toboggan, pedalos, canoeing, pole climbing, sailing club, tennis, horse riding. Refreshment Bars are available on the beaches too
A virtual reality park, exploring state-of-the-art visual technology in a futuristic architectural environment. Attractions include a “magic carpet” cinema, with one of its two screens placed on the floor, creating the sensation of flying over land. The crystal like Kinemax has the biggest screen in Europe.

In 2017 we decided to follow our dream of having a place abroad; with our two children grown up, we felt the time was right. We booked a couple of tickets to Limoges to have a look at possibly a house in France. Richard is a keen carper and I soon noticed that all the properties that we were viewing coincidentally all had lakes.
And then we found it, the one!!! Dream Catchers Lake, WOW!
